Fabulous Cuisine in Santa Monica at The Upper West

One restaurant that has made a name for itself is The Upper West, at 3321 Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica. Executive chef Nick Shipp may be young, but he’s got an enviably diverse background. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, he’s been cooking since he was 15 and working part-time in the high-end restaurants of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He brings an innovative, playful twist to his menu. The menu is constantly updated, with fresh tastes and ingredients from around the world.

The Upper West also boasts a 27-foot bar and a long list of signature cocktails. Guests can relax in the spacious restaurant, with 28-foot ceilings and urban-rustic decor. Or enjoy a view of Santa Monica on the patio.
